Topic: Cook Something Bold and Pungent Day
Goal: Describe five bold and intense meals.
Bonus: They should all be made-up combinations using at least one item that is not normally a food.
Here are a few I came up with:
- Lunch: A vinegar and zoysia grass sandwich on wheat, with a light dusting of yellow pollen seasoning.
- Dinner: Fried sour mulch and crushed dead horse arum lily patties with a buttermilk glaze.
- Afternoon Snack: Mint and lemon pepper red clay tea with an acorn and maple bark cookie.
Don’t be afraid to be outlandish. Who knows when you’ll write something the needs such a thought-stretcher? Share your response to today’s bold and pungent writing prompt in the comments or tag me on Twitter!
